After the 7-inch QPAD tablet, Lava brings its latest sub-Rs 15,000 smartphone dubbed Iris Pro 20 to the Indian market. Just like its predecessor,the Iris Pro 30, the Pro 20 also follows the ‘Art meets style’ theme. However, it appears to be a trimmed down version of the Iris Pro 30.

Dipped in Navy blue, it is priced at Rs 13,999 and will be available across national retail chain stores, multi-brand outlets across India and online stores soon.

The Iris Pro 20 sports a 4.7-inch IPS display featuring 540×960 pixels of resolution with One Glass solution (OGS) technology, unlike the Iris Pro 30 that comes with 720p display. It also comes with Corning Gorilla Glass protection. The dual-SIM smartphone weighs 112 grams and is mere 7.7mm sleek.

Under the hood, the smartphone is powered by a 1.2GHz quad-core processor, coupled with 1GB RAM. On the storage front, it gets 4GB of internal memory that is expandable up to 32GB via microSD card slot. The smartphone also comes fitted with an 8-megapixel auto-focus rear camera with LED flash and Zero Shutter Lag (ZSL).

The connectivity options include 3G, Wi-Fi and Bluetooth. All of this is fueled by a 2,000mAh battery.
 It claims to support CABC (Content Adaptive backlight control) technology that enables the battery life to last 30 percent more than conventional smartphone batteries.

Microsoft best device supported almost all features which are comparable to Apple and Samsung phones.

The device has a 5-inch screen with full HD, a 2.2 Ghz quad-core processor, 2GB RAM, 16 GB storage space and a 20 megapixel camera.The devices runs the Windows Phone 8.1 OS, which was also released at the BUILD conference.

Screen Resolution: Lumia 925 and Lumia’s 1020 had 4.5-inch screens, when competitors like Samsung with Galaxy S4 and Sony’s Xperia Z1 had 5-inch screens. Again the Lumia 1520 phablet was the first Nokia Lumia device with the full HD screen. As far as other flagships were concerned, the HD screen resolution was a massive let down when competitors had better screens to offer.This has been fixed with the Lumia 930.

Processor: Nokia 930 is equipped with Snapdragon 2.2 GHz quad-core processor, 2GB RAM and 32 GB stoarge space which is best for customers who wanted something good comparison between Apple A7 and Samsung Galaxy S4 smartphones.the Lumia 930 might just seem appealing thanks to the better specs.



Camera: There’s no overlooking the fact that when it comes to camera specifications, Nokia has kept the flag flying high.The Lumia 930 has a 20 megapixel camera with Optical image stabilization  and a Carl -Zeiss lens.  It has more megapixels than the S5, the iPhone 5s and is a little shy of the latest Xperia Z2.It has some awesome and great features for video recording and four microphones, directional recording, which
enhances clarity of sound.

Battery:  Lumia 930 has a 2420 mAh battery with built-in wireless charging. The maximum talk time Nokia is promising on 2G is 11.5 hours, with 15.5 hours on 3G. For users who are constantly running out of battery, the Lumia 930 might seem like a great option.

Conclusion: The Lumia 930 managed to tick off the all right boxes of what a premium smartphone should have. A strong processor, a bigger and sharper screen, along with a 20 megapixel camera. Of course the success will also depend on the pricing (at least in India) and the response that Windows Phone 8.1 gets from app developers.
