According to a UK publication, the incident came to light when a Muslim teacher took a bite of a sandwich, which was supposed to contain halal chicken and sweet corn, and realized that that the smoky thing she was tasting was actually pork.
Under Islamic law, Muslims are strictly forbidden from eating pork.
